Me playing a bass riff i used in my ex band. . . 4 measures at 240bpm.

This is a synth riff i created for this remix of "egyptian lover" i am in the process of doing. The notes are a b c d e. Really those are the notes. ; ) thought this riff came out pretty strangely awesome. Please enjoy, use, remix, flip around, share, comment, conspire, organize and chillax. : ).

Actually more of a rhythm synth as opposed to a bassline that i'm using in a song i'm currently working on. This synth is from the blue synth. Enjoy and create. Break through with vision.

Low gain, blues like riff. Almost sounds like something you might hear on the radio in the background. A little all over the place after a while.

Heavy effects, phase and flange, just some simple notes.

I've recorded several variations of piano riffs, but left in the 4 best ones. It was difficult for me to remove the key tapping, so i left some key tapping alone at the end, if you want to try to remove it from the riffs.

In these recordings i am only using the swarmandal (harp) part. It is tuned to c sharp, but i have dropped the fourth note (f sharp) out of the scale. There are four packs with lots of recordings in them, strums, plucks, short improvisations. "short melodic statements" are 1-2 bars. "riffs" are 2-4 bars. "melodies" are about 30 seconds and "runs and flutters" speaks for itself. There is recording of tuning up the swarmandal in the melodies pack. The snippets were taken from recordings done on three different days so you may notice a slight difference in volume and background noise. A couple of the recordings have some ambient noise (bird tweets, wind chimes,)some of the melodies are based around a similar theme but have enough variation to be interesting/useful. Low gain but mushy and nasty type of tone. Simple riff but with the nasty overtones, think of it as ac/dc if they forgot to tune.

Simple type of riff which would work for a beginning or break segment. Low gain type of sounds. Call it garage rock or alternative lo-fi rock. Actually changes into a couple different segments which might be useful.

Super heavy distortion with tons of reverb and delay. Total arena rock vibe with the lead guitar player taking the spotlight. Think evh and other guitar overlords throwing down the licks for all to hear.

Electric guitar, heavy distortion, heavy effects, slow type of riff. Trippy, hypnotic, repeating but changing.

Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

It's me jamming a bit using my epiphone's explorer (tuned to drop-d). Recorded with a zoom h2 via mic-in and a jack cable. Unprocessed an undedited recording. I tried out some licks and chords. I'm not a good guitarist. Nevetheless, this might be a nice recording if you're making an animation about learning musician, or a game with a band member rehearsing alone in a room, or if you want to just chill to my little jam session. This should be mono, but i calculated the difference between left and right channel and it is not zero. So i uploaded it as a stereo file. Could use some denoising. There is some silence at the beginning so you can do that if you need.

Director of "rodky horror show" wanted a spooky sound effect when riff raff opens door. I recorded and made up a sound effect of door being unchained using tire chains, and mixed it with freesound 70101 of a creaky door.
